A new way to explore Cultural Heritage

The PATRIMÓNIO CULTURAL 360® Portal has been designed to make access to Portuguese cultural heritage simpler, more intuitive and more engaging, bringing together different types of content within a single integrated digital experience.
Through various navigation options — by theme, location, historical period or direct search — the aim is to bring the public closer to cultural heritage, facilitating discovery, exploration and appreciation of Portugal’s cultural legacy.

3D Digitisations

Explore highly accurate three-dimensional models of movable cultural heritage from museum collections and archaeological contexts, as well as assets integrated within historic monuments. 3D visualisation allows objects to be examined from multiple perspectives, revealing details often not visible through traditional observation.

Virtual Tours

Explore museums, palaces, monuments and archaeological sites through immersive digital experiences. Virtual tours enable users to navigate heritage spaces with intuitive controls, supported by interpretative content that helps explain their history and significance.

Explore three-dimensional surveys of historic buildings captured through laser scanning, recording with high precision the geometry, volume and main construction features. The promoter of PATRIMÓNIO CULTURAL 360® is Património Cultural, I.P., a public institute of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, responsible for preserving, enhancing and promoting cultural heritage in Portugal. The project is coordinated by its Department of Digital Transition.
